PARKING … HERE WE GO AGAIN!

Sevenoaks was identified in 2013 by RAC research as among the biggest 'parking tax' raiders in England, taking £1.4 million from local people trying to shop, work or do business here. Sevenoaks Town alone delivers more parking profit than many London boroughs - including Bexley, Barnet or Barking, and that's just boroughs starting with B!

Now Tory District Council leaders are coming back for another hike in charges - despite clear evidence that they have already scared off many shoppers. Liberal Democrat councillors have led opposition to these increases which would burden Sevenoaks residents and threaten the life of our town.

We also want better solutions for all-day parking for workers in the town, including proper management of carparks to make better use of spaces.
