We welcome Lib Dem leader Tim Farron's firm general election policy pledge.

No pacts, no coalitions with parties who would compromise on opposing a Hard Brexit for the UK, said Alan Bullion, Lib Dem Parliamentary Spokesman for Sevenoaks and Swanley.

The Labour Party is all over the shop on Brexit. Its so-called Brexit plan has more holes than a colander.

Labour has effectively handed the Tories a blank cheque on Brexit. It is manifestly failing to protect the UK economy by dragging the UK out of the Single Market. They are likewise failing the British people by refusing to give them a say on the final deal, in marked contrast to the Lib Dems.

And if Labour were serious about protecting the rights of EU citizens, why didn't they stand up for them when they had the chance in Parliament? Instead they chose to sit on their hands and abstain.

As for the Tories, reports that the Government are offering email alerts for EU nationals seeking information on their right to stay show a callous disregard.

If this is meant to reassure EU citizens who have made Britain their home then it has completely failed. We all know that the Home Office is struggling to cope with the number of applications flooding in but the Government could easily cut the bureaucracy.

The Government must overhaul and simplify the registration process for EU nationals. An 85 page form is ludicrous - causing huge burdens for the applicants and the system.

This Conservative Brexit Government's refusal to guarantee EU nationals the right to stay, their refusal to guarantee a future for millions who contribute to our economy and society shows that the nasty party are back.

The Liberal Democrats are the only party offering a clear way to stay in the EU.

Giving the people a say on the final Brexit deal is the best way of avoiding the Hard Brexit that Theresa May is driving us towards.

Remember, Sevenoaks MP Michael Fallon switched from Remain to 'Total Brexit'. It is the Tories that are offering voters their own 'Coalition of Chaos' and are divided on this vital issue.

Send a Strong Message to Theresa May and her Tories.

Vote Lib Dem both in the County and General Elections to stop a Tory Hard Brexit for Sevenoaks and Swanley.
