Who to vote for in Sevenoaks
Our data, gathered since the election was called, shows:
- The Conservatives on 44.9%
- The Liberal Democrats on 43.8%
- And Labour on just 6.5%
- Other parties are on 4.9%.
And this is NOT ‘trick’ data, or polling of limited groups. It’s taken from speaking to 3,400 people on their doorsteps to 23 June.
The areas we canvassed include Chipstead, Farningham, Hextable, Kemsing, Otford, Riverhead, Sevenoaks Town and Swanley.
So, it’s clear that the race in this constituency is between the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats.
If you want to beat the Tories, vote Lib Dem and for Richard Streatfeild MBE.
The figures should be no real surprise as they reflect both national trends, such as the collapse of the Tory vote, and, perhaps most importantly, local ones.
These are the ones that national tactical voting sites, using UK-wide data, sometimes miss out.
In Sevenoaks, these include:
- A strong local Lib Dem party, which won almost 30 council seats just a year ago in the local elections;
- Months of canvassing and campaigning, which we’ve been undertaking since September; and
- No sign in all our canvassing of any significant Labour support, even in areas where they have been strong in the past.
We’re canvassing every single day until the election. If you’d like to help us in any way, please email our Campaign Director: david.michael.skinner@outlook.com
