Conservatives are main cause of delay to Sevenoaks grammar school annexe application

Subject: Grammar Schools

Dear Sir,

Michael Fallon is wrong to blame the Lib Dems in the Chronicle for the endless delay on a decision on a Sevenoaks grammar school extension being approved.

The real reason is that successive Conservative ministers, and now the Prime Minster, have either rejected or delayed applications, because they did not meet the necessary criteria, or for political expedience.

For more than five years now Michael Fallon has dithered and dallied on this issue, and instead unsuccessfully tries to pass the buck to his coalition partners. Hopefully the electorate will see through his weak excuses.

Yours

Dr Alan Bullion

Lib Dem Parliamentary Candidate for Sevenoaks
